    A number of people have asked me to delete posts for one reason or another. While this isn't a huge deal most of the time, I do want to cover one thing with everyone.

    What you post on this forum is going to be indexed by Google. Meaning, if the post is up for a few days it's very likely that Google already has a copy of it. So if I delete it, someone can easily go look up the cached version of the thread.

    On the other hand deleting posts often makes a thread have no linear progression. So it has a negative effect on the legibility and understanding of a thread.

    What this means to you guys and gals is that you need to think before you hit the reply button. Edit the post accordingly, and then post.

    I figured I'd blow that up since a lot of people forget that. ;)
