I was checking out SGAmmo and they currently have a good deal on a crate containing two spam cans: $124.90 + $26 S/H. The only thing is this ammo is old. According to them, dated 1946-1953. Has anyone her ever shot Russian 7.62x54R from this era? Is it reliable? I've heard some rumors of hang fires, any truth to that? So far, I've been sticking with 70s surplus and that's never failed me.
