I am looking for a good load for the S&W 32 short, using smokeless powder. I am really hoping for something with Unique or Red Dot as I have plenty of those. I will be using a 90 or 100 grain cast bullet.
Any help will be appreciated. Most loads I find are for the 32 long.

The Lyman #45 edition has the following loads for the .32 S&W Short:
77 grain cast bullet, 1.4 to 1.9 grains of Red Dot, max fps 736
77 grain cast bullet, 1.6 to 2.6 grains of Unique, max fps 760

84 grain cast bullet, 1.3 to 1.7 grains of Red Dot, max fps 698
84 grain cast bullet, 1.5 to 2.5 grains of Unique, max fps 745

Interestingly, the loads for the .32 S&W Long start at the max end of the Short loads.

If you would like me to scan the page and send it to you, send me a PM and I'll take of that for you. The only other powder listed is Bullseye for this cartridge.

There are no loads for the 100 grain bullet, so you may want to rethink that. The load for the 84 grain bullet should work with the 90 grain bullet.

The bullet diameter is .310 to .313 for cast and jacketed. Max case length is .605", trim to .600. Max OAL is .930" Small pistol primer.
