I already have some 300 Win Mag pet loads for hunting that use IMR 4350 under Grand Slams or SSTs. Anyone have long range target loads that I could start with?

Note: There's all kinds of data on the internet, but I would trust a fellow Texan, first.

Wanted to add that if you are using decent bullets with reasonable BCs there is no reason to switch loads.

I have an AR10 that shoots the SSTs better than anything else I have tried.

No need to tinker or shop around if what you have will do the job unless you just want to.

As mentioned, if you have a load that works, is accurate, don't mess with it.

Back when I hunted, and I found a load that worked well, I left it alone. The only loads I tweaked or played around with were those for target shooting.

I use a lot of that IMR4350 powder. Very versatile and gives great results.
