The shell latch popped loose on a friend's 1100 and couldn't see any way to restake it using a punch. Saw the tool on Brownells but they discontinued carrying it so I ordered it from Midway. It worked perfectly and much quicker than trying to make a punch work.
Some of the factory staking spots were too shallow and not in the proper places, probably a Monday build.
