Tried some cheap Monarch .30-06 as I didn't want to spend $40+ for 20 rounds of Federal Gold Match and ended up with an impressive muzzle blast.

Grouping was less than desired, no more skimping on ammo.

Yeah I know what you mean.Monarch is garbage but it is cheap.I will not use it because I have seen too many guns come in because the casing cracked and expanded.I think this ammo is out of spec for the .223 and 7.62.
