I am going to sell one and keep the other. I have never fired either one, but I like both and can't decide which one to keep.
The Marlin is pretty rare with just 1059 made. It has Mauser action, Sako trigger and a stainless steel microgroove barrel.
Sadly the Lyman sight was removed before I got it, but it does have scope rings on it.
The Remington is, well a Remington. Not much else to say except it has a Redfield 2x to 7x scope mounted. Seems to
clear and functional to me. It is the BDL version with the removable base plate, nice stock and a nice trigger.
I am in north Austin. Willing to travel 50 miles for serious offer. Thanks
$600 for the Marlin
$650 for the Rem with scope or $600 without
