    Hey forum

I'm int he market for a package Remington 700 with a Harris Swivel Bipod and a supressor. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

I've done a little research on my own and I have come up with this site http://www.snipercentral.com/remington-700-sniper-rifle-package/ however that package doesn't come with a suppressor and the price seems a little high. Would anyone recommend that site and also where would you recommend I buy a supressor from that will fit the 5/8"-24 thread?

That rifle is really a custom rifle without a custom action. They are using fancy aftermarket parts that you can get yourself without accurizing the action (at least not that I could tell). Buy a 700 at Academy and replace all those parts and you have the same thing.

That really isn't a bad price if you want those aftermarket options.

Threaded barrel 700s aren't very common on store shelves (that I have seen anyways). Go to Remington's website and find the model you want, find it online, and order it. It has to be shipped to a FFL dealer so you may see what their price is to get you one first.

We have a few suppressor shops as sponsors here. Capitol Armory and Silencer Shop come to mind. They will walk you through the steps to get one. Plan on about 4 months wait time.

700s are decent rifles. Unless you are really stuck on one, check out what Savage has to offer. Many of us are fans as we feel they make a better, more accurate rifle. They have many different options available too. The choice is yours though.
