Recently I have had the itch for a double-rifle, I'm not sure why as I have no plans of hunting in Africa or any other region to which you would use a double rifle. It's just one of those guns I have always wanted but no use for and don't have but want in the collection. Even though I want one I don't want to spend thousands on a Actual double rifle in a traditional African Dangerous caliber.
Recently I came across a Remington MR-221 in Both 45-70 Government and 30-06 Springfield, I could own either as I will probably not shoot it very much but at some point might use it on a spot and stalk hog hunting for somethigng different than my traditional AR.
My question is there is very little info on these I know they are imported from Turkey but not anymore by Remington under the Spartan label ??? Now EAA Baikal imports them ?
At any rate I was wondering if anybody had some hands on experience with either and your thoughts
