Required min. hours for home based FFL

I know that you have to have set hours in order to have a FFL. But is there a certain minimum hours one must have for a home based FFL?

I know when talked to the ATF when i was going to set up my Gunsmith shop I was told that if i didnt have set hours for at least one day a week (since i wanted to post it as appointment only) that they could just show up any time during the week for audits instead of only during posted hours. But im no expert so i would call ATF and ask them.

My neighbor has no set hours and they show up for audits day or night. 5 years ago in the evening he was heading out to take his wife out to dinner for their anniversary. ATF shows up for surprise audit and after hearing that they were going to dinner he said "that's your problem, now show me your books".
