Got my Surefire brake and PA Micro dot. I wasn't stoked about the PA mount so I'm swapping it for an ADM.

Upper is mostly Noveske, with some KAC and BCM. My lower is Mega, with a hodgepodge of parts.

Yeah I'm still not satisfied. I want a 14.5" mid length. The 16" carbine just doesn't do it for me.

14.5" middies are kinda hard to get running right.

    What! No they're not!

My DD barrel ran flawlessly for hundreds of rounds. I'd still have it but I sold it to help me buy some new glass.

14.5's aren't hard to get running at all. I have 3. Pretty much all ARs that aren't 20" running rifle gas systems are over gassed, under gassed or somewhere in between. Just look at how much rubber they're using as extractor springs now to rip cases out of chambers.

It wasn't over or under gassed

Heck no, even suppressed it ran like a champ. IMHO everything runs better suppressed but that's more opinion than actual fact.

    14.5" mid-length + VLTOR A5 + brake = awesome!

    Here's a rifle I picked up today.

Weatherby Vanguard chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum. Already have plans to bed the stock and probably install a brake. Not sure what scope Im gonna put on this.
Picture of ammo is .308, 7.62x54R and 300 Wby Mag

Do it. I have the EXPS2-2 and I love it.

    -PAK-

Was gonna buy one from work, but they said I can't get my 20% discount on online orders over $250 so I bought the Aimpoint pro from Wal-Mart/optics planet instead.

There was a time when Eotech gave us 50% off discounts on everything, but the cheap bastards rescinded the offer before I could order one. Trijicon too.
