I'll refrain from telling stories but I would like to note that he left behind 3 great kids. A man couldn't ask for a better legacy.
It ain't just you.I'd like a story.
Might just be me though.
I met Deena, his daughter, when she was 16 or so. I was the coordinator for what I believe was her first Olympic trials match. It was odd to see that much raw talent in a kid. She had a problem, though. She was so drop-dead gorgeous that she was having problems deciding if she should try to be a model or pursue her shooting. Her focus was split.I'd like a story.
In this day and age where many dad’s and mom’s push their kids to live out the parents dream, it is pretty special to see a man who could have done that, but let his daughter pursue her own passions. A lot to be learned in this story. The thing that impressed me the most is that Lones Wigger, a supremely skilled shooter and incredibly competitive person, was never prouder than when his daughter outshot him.
That speaks volumes about his love for her and his personal integrity. Is there a better compliment to pay a father? I can't think of one.
I'd like a story.
Might just be me though.
This thread isn't really the place but open a private conversation with me and I'll explain why she's not on here.No I second that, I love Ben's stories. His sister should get an account and have her own section so we can read all of her stories.
