Burt Reynolds made a movie called "Gator" with Jerry Reed playing the bad guy in the movie. It was a sequel to his movie "White Lightning" which was another good movie.

This song was used in the opening of the movie.

Interesting story about this Jerry Reed song he wrote. He recorded the song and Elvis heard the song and tried to record it, but just didn't like how it sounded and wanted the guitar player that played on the song. So Jerry Reed was brought in to play the guitar on this song for Elvis.

I found this Jerry Reed song just a few years ago, that came out in 1978. For some reason, I just can't recall ever hearing it back then. But an excellent song by Jerry Reed.

Some Conway Twitty. A huge impact on music for many, many years. Had so many awesome songs during his career. Truly was one of the greats.
