I don't count either. I figure at least 600 rounds per month when I'm home. I was deployed for 7 months in 2010, so 3,000+ between 9mm and .40. Didn't shoot a ton of rifle in 2010, maybe 300rds.

WOW, thanks for the numbers to take to the accountant. She thinks that my 500 or so .22 per month as well as the 4 times a year bulk purchases of bullets/powder and primers is excessive. I am well behind the curve...

I am an accountant so I try not to keep track of things like this when I am not working, but, I bought a .22 revolver in October and a .22 pistol about a month later. Just while ago when I got thru shooting, I realized I was about to fill a 39oz plastic coffee can full of empty .22 hulls. Don't know how many that is, and I don't want to count them.

I wanna get build details on that. It looks like fun.

I bought it off a guy on another board. What he DIDN'T say was that it didn't work....until I called him, then it was like "Oh, I thought I put it in the ad!"<yeah, right> Then again, I paid less for it than what the pair of NIB Ruger 10/22's woulda cost me (and he DID include their original boxes AND stocks).
    Y'know, it's funny....a 10/22 that ain't lubed won't cycle......

OOPS!!! I emailed him back about what I found, he suddenly was wanting to offer me my money back if I'd return 'em....yeah, r i g h t ! ! ! Bit, it's okay - I notified the board owner, who kicked him off (turns out there was another guy got burned by him, but his problem wasn't so easy to fix).

Number of rounds? Not a clue... I estimate I spent around $1800 last year on ammo tho. Plus my stockpiles aren't quite as big right now as they were at the beginning of 2010, so I'm going to have to spend MORE this year, lol.
