Man, I might have to get one. My Remington 597 ain't worth a shit as far as accuracy. It would be fun to have a cheap 10/22 that I can customize.

Debating getting stamps for the Remington and making it a badass truck gun

Must have a bad barrel on your 597 cause my two are great guns

Ruger sued Armscor. They pulled all of them off the shelves.

I'm pretty pissed at Ruger right now.
    Kidd don't catch flak.
    Volquartsen don't catch flak.

Ruger jumps on the 1911 bandwagon.

    RIA? Nope! You can't play.

Which Ruger factory model does Kidd and Volquartsen compete with?

Do you know that Kidd and VQ do not pay royalties to Ruger for the use of their design?

Ruger recently opened a new plant in N. Carolina... At this point in our economy, buying american made when possible is not a bad idea, IMO.

Ruger doesn't pay Colt for the design of the 1911 either......

Someone correct me if im wrong but Colt 1911 patents expired?

Could do so since it was a gov design?

Like how everyone builds an AR now.

I believe Smith and Wesson got sued by Glock and had to pay them royalties for awhile but now some Glock patents are expiring.

Taurus sue Ruger for ripping off their design?

Kidd and Volq are improvements to the Ruger design. RIA is not an improvement. Just my opinion.

    Patents expire after 20 years.

Some research states this is a trademark lawsuit.

They are going after them for look and feel of the gun not the mechanical operations.

As stated It'd have been better for them to sell the receivers only for under $100.

If I use my glock 19 to defend my life and it works for me then it is just as good as any fire arm out there. Even a saturday night special is better than a $1000 hand gun if you use right...
