I traded my old truck for two gunes yesterday and I now have a Ruger mini 14 and a Colt AR 15 both made in 1976 but I could only get pic. of the Ruger because my camrae is not working right today. I have a 20 round magazines and a org. 6 round magazines for the ruger and for the AR I have 10,15 30 and 35 round magazines.I was thinking this was a good trade for me to do.Thats my hand made gun safe behind the Ruger by the way it was made by my great grand father in 1901 passed on to me by my father.

Check the Ruger to see if it stamped "Made in the 200th year of American Liberty." That's the way to tell if it's a 1976 manufacture date. I had one and it brought a slight premium over other Mini 14's. Depending on the truck, looks like you made a nice trade!
