Ruger Security-Six disassembly, do I have a problem with my Revolver?

I can't get past removing the trigger assembly from the frame. I fully depress the trigger assembly plunger (from the top, where the hammer would be) with a screwdriver. And no matter which way I pull on the trigger guard away from the frame, I can't get it to budge. I even tried letting my buddy pull while i focused on holding the frame and pressing the plunger. the manual and the YouTube videos I've seen, show the trigger assembly come out fairly easily.

Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the forum. You can go to the Ruger site in the video area here.
Click on the tech tips videos in the middle of the page which will take you to another page.
On that page click on the double action revolvers disassembly.
A video will come up and show you how to do it. Hope it helps.
