Hmmm...if CA people don't like it, GTFO. Like most of the smart ones already have.

I looked into exporting to Calibanfornia and went as far as getting the permits set up a few years ago. No, I am not kidding. Permits are required to send guns to that pitiful excuse for a state, per gun, in advance. I refused to sent samples of guns for "testing" (each with a large check), though.

It's really too bad that shit like this happens. The people that end up suffering, especially in the Peoples' Socialist Яepublik of Kalifornia, are the rural folks. They lose in the polls to the large urban areas and they're the ones who get the shit end of the stick because of that.

Move. Owning "stuff" or land is nice but I would rather have my freedom. Sell it all and move to a free state and start over.

Nothing suprises me anymore coming from the Left Coast, especially Cali. It is what it is, good people need to get out, let the liberals have it and watch the state sink into oblivion. The retards want that kind of regulation and extortion out there, let them pay the consequences.

It costs around $3,500 to apply to get a gun on the list and there's no guarantee it'll get there. The SR22 was de-listed in November or December, I think, because of minor changes in this year's model. Sometimes different versions of the same gun require their own spot on the list, which is why many of the guns made aren't available here.

Then there's the 10-day wait to purchase - even if you already own guns. I walked into a gun store with my EDC on my hip and carry permit in my pocket, which shows that I've already passed a background check and can demonstrate some proficiency with a pistol. I had to wait 10 days to bring my new G36 home.

I could go on and on about the crap that goes on here, but I won't.

This state is a bad joke. I can't wait to get into free America.

You people need to stand back and look at the bigger picture.

The gub-ment is covertly herding all conservative, like-minded folks and manufacturing into a small, consolidated area in order to make it easier to over-throw and conquer once the collapse happens.

I'm a bit worried Texas is headed that way, too. The urban areas haven't quite overwhelmed the rest of the state yet, but it's close. Maybe I should preemptively move :p

One of the biggest challenges the confederates had in the civil war was that resource distribution was heavily concentrated in the north. I would be tickled pink if manufacturing became concentrated in the free'er states.

Saw this note from Mike Fifer elsewhere today:

    Re: California Approved Handgun List

We are now being forced to retest all of our guns (pistols and double
action revolvers) as their time on the roster expires. And we are having
them all retested. But we cannot meet the micro-stamping requirement for
the pistols. These guns are passing all the tests they passed the first
time around, but there is no technology that can pass the micro-stamping
requirement, so the CADOJ is refusing to recertify the pistols and
consequently they are not getting renewed on the list. The CADOJ will not
even accept the data from the test labs that shows the guns passed every
    test except the microstamping.

The net result is that the double-action revolvers are getting renewed on
the list, and the pistols are not. But we are trying everything we can to
get them back on the list.

Also, as voting members of the National Shooting Sports Foundation, we
have been instrumental in pushing them, as the representative of our
industry, to take the lead in initiating litigation in California to
overturn the microstamping regulations. They filed suit last week to do
    just that.

    Sincerely,
    Mike Fifer

Someone should invent some sort of directed energy weapon. A hand held laser, or particle beam, super heated plasma, or mass accelerator weapon and sell them for $100 in kalifornica.

Sell them everywhere and tell the CADOJ and ATF to pound sand because they are not firearms.

That is possible to produce. Just crazy expensive. From what ive read they are unable to make these microstamped guns at all. Perhaps they just meant they are economically not able to do so?

How long until IL and the NY states try to adopt similar manufacturing restrictions?

NY has a micro stamping bill on the books already

Theoretically possible, just like microstamping. In reality, it would be dangerous to the user because the odds of getting the gun to function under stress is greatly reduced, especially since the push seems to be toward biometrics.

The whole "Microstamping" thing is retarded considering every gun leaves unique marks on its ammunition anyway. Detectives have been using this stuff since at least the MLK shooting (that I know of).

Or maybe stock up on stamped brass so you can say your stamp came from a range trip and someone must have stolen the brass from the range and reloaded it.
