    Little Italian job.
Mason Richards conversion reproduction. 38 spl.
Main reason I developed the mouse fart loads.
Needs a bit heavier hammer spring to be reliable on ignition.
    You know anyone? Ahem!

Anyway, holster was done by a saddle maker South of town by Buffalo Gap. One man operation. One of a kind.

Paid more for the holster than I did for the revolver.
Picked the gun up at a gun show in Mesquite about 25 or 30 years ago.

If it is the flat spring the ones at Numrich should work. Or use softer primers. Is it a black powder cylinder?

I know nothing about the cylinder.
No box no papers. Just bought it off a table back in late 80s.

Just curious. A lot of those were based on black powder guns and don't take jacketed ammo real well. The cylinders would take full black powder loads or .38 spl cowboy action loads with soft lead bullets. If it eats a steady diet of .38 special jacketed bullets, that would be really cool.

I've probably not fired a full box of jacketed through it.
Steady diet of 125 gr hard cast lead.

There's a holster maker in Buffalo Gap? I'm thinking about moving to that area in a few months.
    "Saddle maker".
Give me a little time to see if he's still in business.

Honestly, if you need a holster,
jrbfishn is about as good as you'll find. But, he ain't at Buffalo Gap.
