Safety install issue after installing SD-3G

Cannot for the life of me get my FCD short throw back in after installing the geissele SD-3G looks to be hitting right where the arrow is in the pic, I may just be doing something stupid… but figured I’d ask on here even if I figure it out before a response maybe it’ll help someone else out.

Did that first but hammer pin would not line up… wore out my thumb trying to get it in

Have you tried loosening the pistol grip screw. Sometimes they push on the bottom of the trigger. You may need to add a washer on the grip side to reduce the screw length.

Drop trigger into lower, install safety, then install trigger pin. If there is still interference between the trigger tail and safety, file the trigger tail until things fit. Double and triple check to make sure the safety works properly after installation is complete.
