Saiga/AK sight mount. What and where.

I have been doing allot of research and looking through allot of threads for relevant information and figure it's time to just ask.

For now I'm looking for an inexpensive heads-up reflex sight for my Saiga 7.62. What I'm looking for is an optic wide enough and low enough that I can use IS through the same viewing plain. And this would mount on a quad rail mount.

Can anyone make any suggestions for a reliable optic to fit the bill? I'm going for inexpensive not cheap.

I know that my other option is utilizing the receiver mount for a different kind of optic since this would negate my original intended purpose.

Yes that's what I meant by the receiver mount. That would change up the kind of optic I use since it would negate my purpose for the reflex.

Ahh. I have a Belarus kobra. Its nice but I lost the detent ball that clicks the elevation adjustment. It measures 2.97mm and I cannot find one . I have an 8x Belarus posp for hogs. Works great and holds a good zero. I am a fan of the receiver mounts . I like my aks as original as possible.

I usually prefer original for most guns... Except AKs. Not sure why but I think that they can be made even more tacticool than ARs

While I'm still keeping it as an option I am still looking for quality Reflex sights considering I'm not sure if I can trust the ones from eBay for less than 30.

Super easy. You just throw the.lever and it slides off.
