But my point was not about that, it was that I don't think minimum leave entitlements dictate the transition to a fascist style leadership.

On the surface you may be correct however anytime a government exerts control over the economy, it constricts economic capacity.

The more control that is exerted, the more constricted the economy.

This country was designed so the national government would control the economy...that’s the point of the of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Of course not. This is why the leave entitlements are only minimums, and the company can be supported by their insurer if in the case they can't meet the minimums.

Obviously the system in my home country is set up to accommodate, the one here in the US is not, so a pseudo-mixing of separate systems and legislations will ultimately backfire.

I have run my own small businesses back home with reasonable success, and have been a manager of people and operations in my current occupation for several years. I don't proclaim to know everything, but nor am I blind to reality.

To call it "fascism" seems to be inflammatory emotional hyperbole!
No, it's accurate. Fascism exerts government control over the means of production, but maintains private ownership (and private profits).

Of course the more government controls business, the more lucrative it becomes for corporations to control government. Corporatism is the 5th branch.
