    The "Buy-back" was a roaring success! Highlights of the guns I rescued include a S&W Model 10 ($250), a 1903 Springfield ($160), and an Arisaka Type 38 ($160)!

I hope they do a lot more of these!

That's great to hear. Where did you locate yourself in relation to the buyback event to get the traffic? I'm assuming you had no problems with SAPD.

Stupidity abounds & attracts its like fellows.

Never ceases to amaze how the libturds continually recycle their absurdities.

Our Ancestors & their Nation were so better-off when the government stayed out of this area completely.

    Just ’’Say NO!’’

Traffic was directed into the street where all sellers were fair game. We were banned from all Alamodome property. A cop tried to tell us we had to be on the opposite sidewalk, but CJ Grisham was there to correct him, body cam and all. (Thanks, CJ!)

Once they ran out of gift cards a few cops even helped us out by redirecting traffic for us where we could do business more safely!

A saw one guy get a US Army marked Colt 1911 for $600, and someone else get a pristine SKS with bayonet for $350.

Texas Public Radio had a spot about it earlier today. They started off mentioning that there was one guy there that didn't want to talk to them. They said he was there with a stack of $100 bills, but no one wanted to seem to take him up on his offer. I was laughing because I knew that wasn't the case with you and now it looks, unsurprisingly from NPR, they wanted to play down that angle and just praise the gun buy by the city.

My S&W Model 10 told me he thinks they're full of it. And he was there.

How do you use next door to read about the Karens in a different location? I always thought if I were going to move, I'd want to know how thick on the ground the Karens were at my destination but I swear I can't find out how to add a neighborhood that's not near me.
Yes, that's the challenge. I had an account when we lived in WA. Once we moved, I found it nearly impossible to relocate on the app. Several months ago, I tried again and managed to "move". It reminded me that the site does have SOME utility for lost animal situations, but that's about it. ND nuked a post I made after the 2nd debate because their "guidelines prohibit stories that are not local". The post was getting hundreds of views and lots of replies, but it must have rubbed some Karen the wrong way, so she reported it and some other Karen nuked it.

It did also help expose the ugly social underbelly of our region. A gal posted about how the school made her 13 year old daughter watch a CNN story about how Israel bombed a hospital in Gaza. She didn't like the indoctrination angle and many agreed with her. Then I started getting in scraps with all these SA idiots, who believed that story to be true. Man, there are some ignoramuses out there. It devolved to CRT and I had a SA genius ask me " you really believe they are teaching CRT in TX schools?", followed by a clown emoji. I posted him the link on the lawyers teaching school districts how to fly under the radar on CRT. Shortly after that, the entire post, and all responses, was GONE. Guess it wasn't local?

Anyway, it sometimes is useful for lost pets and maybe finding a local business (ironically, their advertising is NOT local and is fairly annoying).
