Hi everyone, updating my old thread...

I am a hobbyist duracoater/cerakoter (not a business) and have been refinishing firearms for over 5 years. I am fairly adept and have completed over 400 guns not to mention stocks, etc. I would like to trade for my duracoating/cerakoting services. I can do CZs, Hi Powers, Sigs, ARs, AKs, most Shotguns, Berettas, 1911s, Saigas, pretty much anything. I value my services in the range of 150-200 for a pistol, 160-270 for a shotgun/rifle depending on what is getting coated, colors, clearcoats, etc. Just drop me a line with what you are interested in having done and what you want to trade! You can PM me or email me at txrichmond7@yahoo.com. I have refinished guns for some TGT members as well as several gunboards member and can provide references or you can come by and see some of my work in person. I now live out in Hondo but still work in the NW SA area. Thanks!

Trade items I am looking for:

    20 gauge target and buckshot
    12 gauge buckshot
    Walther P22
    Browning Buck Mark
    Ruger MK
    mosins
    Glock 17 3rd gen
    Sig P6, 225 or 226
    CZ82, CZ75, CZ85
    38/357 revolver w/4" barrel
knives (spyderco/benchmade folders and fixed or similar)
    flashlights
    gear such as backpacks/bags etc
And pretty much anything else, shooting/hunting/prepping related, just let me know what you have.

    Some cerakote work:

jcrntx has done a couple of projects for me and the work is spectacular!! Reasonable price plus a great person to deal with. I highly recommend and will definitely use in the future. I now find myself searching for project guns with less than perfect finishes because i know what this guy can do.

I grew up in Hondo. Living in Hondo and commuting to San Antonio made my father old before his time, what with the driving straight into the sun every morning and evening.

Looks like you do awfully pretty work. Thanks for the pictures and I'll keep you in mind.

Thankfully, my schedule has me beating the sun both ways most days. I work in NW SA so my commute is pretty easy. Only been at it for 3 months but I love it so far, hopefully it stays that way!

Yes, old finish is completely removed using aluminum oxide blasting.

Have an estimate on what you'd like to do a dissasembled AR-15 in OD Gren? AK-47? How about camo?

It's a pretty broad range. To do a stripped lower/upper and rail would be in the $150-200 range depending on the complexity/size of the rail, to do the stock, grip, barrel and controls on the AR would bump it to $250+ range depending on the buttstock mainly. AK would be a little cheaper than the AR. Camo can be anywhere from $200 on up depending on amount of colors, design (if I can make the template or have to buy one) etc. If you have a specific gun or guns you are interested in a more specific quote for just pm or email me the details and I will get you more info. Thanks
