It is what it is. It was used as a brush gun and the stock was cut down. They tape was likely to keep it together. I took it off

What is bore condition on the Krag?
Can you post a pic of the bolt/gate side of the Krag's action?

    Is the Walker for sale?

Couple more questions on the Krag:

Is the flip up peep on the rear sight intact?
Can you post a pic of the front sight and muzzle?
Can you post a pic of the lettering on the left side of the action?
    Thanks

Oh, and where did you get those white grips on the Walker?

The walker came with the grips. It was a repro from armi San Marcos from Italy (I think).

The Krag came without a front sight and some hack job homemade stock but I tracked down the guy who did it and got the original stock and the front sight. Took it to a smith for the sight to braise it on and instead he peened it on with a punch... I was quite annoyed and pissed. I'll get pics when I get home. Peep sight is original and intact

Notice there is a little bit of surface rust on the end or the barrel. My safe got a little water in it. I hit my guns with some oil and they all cleaned up nicely and are fine but the Krag seemed to get the rust back a little on the surface. Should be fine though

The front sight pic is a little blurry but you can see where it was struck just about the middle of where the back of the front sight base meets the barrel. It looks like a small circle. Nothing big at all though. That's what I get for trusting a smith to do my work for me
