Saw the New Robin Hood movie and I would give it 8 out of 10 - pretty damn good, in other words. Very realistic, well-played by all of the main actors. My only 2 objections would be that the boats used in one scene look like the WW2 Higgins boats (in 1199!) and (to be picky) I have been to the Tower of London and the Thames River is much wider along there. Maybe it was dredged out and widened in modern times.

Anyway, a good action movie. Think Gladiator set in a later time in France and England.

I thought it'd be good ... it's got a good director and cast. The director is pretty good about not drowning the movie out in pointless effects and actually spends time developing the characters, unlike others (ahem ... Woo and Tarantino).

I enjoyed the movie, though I'm not sure if they plan on doing a sequal. . . .it did kind of end where most Robin Hoods start.

I enjoyed it as well because I think there was enough comic relief in there that I wasn't expecting...
