SCAR vs M4, Thermal Images - Wow!

I am probably breaking forum rules posting a link to another forum, but please look at the information before judging.

Someone did a detailed test of the FNH SCAR vs the M4. Big deal right? A hot topic for many people. What makes this comparison unique, is the incredible FLIR Thermal Images from operating weapons. It is truly astounding how much cooler the bolt and barrel for the SCAR were over the M4. In addition it seemed to shed heat significantly faster.

Yes, this is just one of many aspects in evaluating a firearm, but don't discount it before you view it. A few AK images were in for comparison.

Great info!

Handling a SCAR 17s w/o mag at a LGS, it felt lighter than an ACR Basic.

Its definitely on my next rifle to get list!
