This nut job actually believed/ bought into the hysteria the left has created to impede Trump. It would be healthy for the country if Democrats and the media turned down their rhetoric. They have been shouting for the past 7 months that Trump is an agent for Russia and other absorbed rumors. It gives them credibility. The mentally ill and crazies don't have the ability to see through the smokescreen.
Sadly nothing will happen... guns will be the only thing blamed.

My thoughts are that being too far on either side of the spectrum is dangerous. The nut jobs on either extreme will arise according to the times. Too many people act on what they hear and want to believe. The rhetoric only fuels the fire.

Well put. I think mentally unstable types like Hodgkinson are spurred to action by the excessive rhetoric of people such as Kathy Griffin, Stephen Colbert, Bill Mahr and the Julius Caesar production in NYC, to cite only a few examples. Now both left and right have these crazies, as you say, however with the MSM rushing to defend these incidents, we are seeing more instigation on the left. I agree with President Trump that with the MSM more desirous to exhibit their rights than they are worried about their responsibilities they have to us, that they have indeed become an "enemy of the American people."

Your girl lost and your side is attacking people. Smashing eggs in women’s faces, lighting fires, killing police, shooting congressmen, hitting girls in the face with clubs, spraying pepper spray in people’s faces, attacking people in mobs, stopping traffic on freeways. It’s all on video.
If you are unable to show that our members made such claims you need to edit your post. I don't recall anything like that being said and it gives a very negative impression of how our members conduct themselves.

Ahhh, happy to see that. Basically I see people on both sides, albeit much more on the left these days due to a form of brainwashing by much of the mainstream media, affected by politics. Doesn't matter how good a person is, it is an impossible task to please all the people as a president, and there will be those that will want to oppose.
The right did not riot when Obama was elected. Either time. Nor did we riot, attack innocent people, or make speaches condoneing violence when Hillary won the nomination. That was the left. The Democreats followers.

To say that all people that make a terrorist attack such as this out of anger that their side lost is mentally ill, is a gross injustice to those that genuinely are. My ex-brother-in-law actually is mentally ill. And he knew it, but was a really nice caring person. To lump otherwise normal people that think violence is an ecceptable means to an end with him is an insult. Most mentally ill are NOT violent. Unfortunately quite a few on the left are violent, although not mentally ill. They know exactly what they are doing.
