    Guys:

I have a Norinco 1897 pump action in 12 gauge. Gun functions and shoots like a dream, but the magazine tube band moves forward under the recoil inertia.

Shooting reduced recoil ammo slows down this process down but eventually it drifts just the same, and really tightening the barrel band screw down with Blue Loc Tite helps only temporarily. I'm thinking of a shot of epoxy or silicone between the barrel and band.

What would you guys recommend to secure the magazine tube barrel band?

    Thanks!
