OK, decided to start a new thread. Below are three of the holsters I made. Pics may be a little fuzzy. The top holster was made in 1972 as belt holster for S&W M28 pistol. In 1990 I reworked it to fit S&W M629 Classic pistol, added keeper strap, and converted it to be a shoulder holster. The lower holster is a field holster for S&W M41 pistol.
The top holster here is a shoulder holster I made for a S&W M629 Classic pistol with Leupold 2X EER scope. This was my hunting "rifle" for several years. The lower holster is the field holster again for S&W M41 pistol.
In recent years have begun buying belts and holsters for 1911's from Lou Alessi and Tony Kanaley. Their work is way better than mine.
