    They do have a good rep and make quality products. I would put them up there with the production Kimbers or any other $800-$1000 production 1911's

    Have shot several 1911's. Out of Para, Colt, Kimber and Taurus the Sig is only more accurate than the Taurus. Might just be the individual gun. Both the Colt government and the Para were worked on so maybe it's not a fair comparison there, but both out of the box Kimbers outshoot it regularly. No problems with operation, reliabilty not an issue.

    They are okay, but if it's a 1911 you want and not a hybrid, then I say look elsewhere. For the same cash you can get a nifty Dan Wesson, or Springfield. Matter of fact there was a TRP for sale in the classifieds this morning.
