    In the woods...
Yep. Winchester Silvers used to be all I carried in my 38 Special.

I bought some more a couple of years ago, but they have changed the configuration of the actual projectile. Still silver, but the actual hollow point is different.

I caught them on sale, pre-covid, for about $250 for a case of 500. I believe it was Target Sports USA, but can't be for sure.

Some metal trading firm was selling silver bullets (solid silver, not ammo).

I have a Trump 45 silver bullet that someone gave me.

I remember reading that back during Prohibition there was a particularly vicious (but not particularly smart) gang of Italian mobsters that had their pistol bullets drilled and then put garlic in the hole, believing that it would cause people they wounded to die from blood poisoning. (Alberto Anselmi & Giovanni Scalise, both working for Al Capone.) Same gang operated a still, but they didn't understand how distillation worked and they would cook their batches to a point where it would break down and cause their liquor to become bad tasting and sometimes toxic.

These are 1 oz and 2 oz .999 pure silver bullion I purchased years ago before making purchases in bar or coin form.

The silver investor persuaded me that I should invest in precious metals. I explained that 124 gr of lead might be worth more than silver.
