So i got one of these a while back and finally got around to trying it on.

my AR has an a2 stock, and i noticed when i clip onto the a2 stock's standard sling loop the rifle hangs waaaaaay to low, (muzzle is a few inches from the floor, and im pretty sure if i was to try and run, i would bash the muzzle repeatedly on the ground - not cool, and definitely not safe) no matter how i connect the sling.

looking around at some pictures it seems most have their slings attached where the recviever meets the shoulder stock, and all of those have collapsible stocks. I will be getting a collapsible soon, but in the mean time, anyone have any ideas on jury rigging this thing to work with my current setup?

There should be some adapters for different setups(depends on the sling). Not a fan of single point slings, the bungee slings are a little better, but a 2 point is my preferred.

    awesome.
    thanks guys.

looks like the link TXdad offered is the same basic deal in davetex's link.

this looks liek the way to go.

though i reckon some chute cord would do the job as well.
