    im looking for a 30 round single stack mag? anyone have a clue if one was ever made o and this is in 9mm for a carbine

    ive seen a few where they welded 2 promag ones together with some extensive work i think they used a sten or uzi spring though

    Not sure how an Uzi spring would fit. I think like M Sage said the length out of the handle would be the issue.

    That and getting a spring to work. All that distance to push (it'd be like a 60 round double stack with a narrower spring), reliability is going to be compromised. You'll have a lot of tension at the bottom and almost none at the top.

    My advice? Get a different rifle that accepts double stacks.
