Yes I agree about that graph. It educated me about this line of pistols real quick and now there is another S&W pistol I saw in that group that I may want to get.
I carried the compact version of the 5903 for awhile. It was the alloy version. Very nice and reliable. I highly recommend them and since you are a beretta fan, you will appreciate the quality and how solid they feel in the hand

Well, I am ready to jump on the Smith and Wesson bandwagon. Next week I will be buying a 5906 and if that is a big hit with me I will probably get a 6906 as well. I don't own a .40 S&W pistol yet so I may possibly look into one of the 4000 series pistols.

The last Smith I've seen up for sale on here. Vaquero got it.

The Smith ads don't last long because it's not that expensive of pistol. ~$450

One of the higher sought after is a first gen in 9mm. There's examples still in the original box. $$$$$ model 39.

i might could locate a near pristine cherry 4506 which belonged to the Chief of a hick town poleece dept and didnt get shot or banged around much. An old Korean War vet chum bought it. He prob wouldnt sell it but if yall make a crazy offer I will see what he says. Thanks. Comes with two extra mags most likely.

I tried to like the 59 and tried 2 of 5906. Great guns but I got bored of them really quick. GT Distributors used to sell them really cheap. All 3 were bought on sale, $200 for the 59 and $300 for both 5906.

I also had a 4506 for a few years that I really liked. I only sold it because I wanted to fund other guns.

Don't be afraid to try any of the S&W old school semi autos. They are still cool and readily available.
