Sounds like you are doing good, considering.
Never give up, never say quit. And never, ever feel sorry for yourself.
    You'll get there.

I have taught stroke diagnosis at 3 Med Schools.

Follow-up is extremely important, to determine what casued your event, if that is possible.

Number one is to recover from this, but number two is to prevent another.

    Good Luck & GOD Bless.

Easy answer. A few bad choices, well maybe more than a few......And bad genes.

Rehabilitation is key here, your body has to relearn new synapses to function; kind of like reinstallation of an Operating System...Good Luck, stay positive

Well relearning wouldn't be difficult if I wasn't so damn graceful to begin with. Today was a major tour of the costco, Walking is the easy part, standing around is the tough part. Can't find the exercise for balance.. Next week sounds fun, going to try a TENS?? unit on face to try to bring the wrinkles back.

Gaston Glock had 2 strokes and still managed to land a 31 year old wife replacement by the time he was 80.

"Free men own guns, slaves don't."

Actually, the University of South Carolina Anthropology & Archeology researchers say that it was common for slaves to have firearms, knives, and axes in their cabins on plantations. Our History here in Louisiana is also that of armed slaves, for hunting and protection purposes. I do agree with your statement's political thrust, though. leVieux

L toes right behind R heel & try to stand for 30 seconds w/o falling - keeping arms crossed so arms don't help balance - just using foot, ankle, calf, knee area muscles. Then R toes to L heel ditto. 2 reps twice per day. That's an arthritis exercise but still...
