I saw this and thought it was pretty darn cool. They took an old train and made it into the world's first solar powered train.
At the end of the video, he makes a good point about this not being a viable solution everywhere for everything. I don't feel that solar power in it's current technological state is good enough to completely replace fossil fuels and power a nation, but in smaller endeavors where the conditions are rights, it can be very useful. I feel the advantage of solar power will be seen in small private endeavors when it's used by owners to power their homes and businesses.
