From Matt Krause - FW House Rep.

The House just adjourned Sine Die for the second special session. But, Speaker Straus said we will come back 30 minutes after the Senate finishes its business to start the third special session. There has been no official call by Gov. Perry as of yet, but it appears that one is imminent.

    Helotes!
I am trying not to get my hopes up; but with Perry leaving after this term, OC would be one heck of a legacy for him!

    Cheers! M2

No serious desire to even own a handgun right now but I'd love to see constitutional open carry in texas. For the state that started the modern concealed carry movement yall or I guess we now are falling behind

As a college student I can only hold my breath and hope for the best here. Unfortunately, being that I go to a private university, Texas law changing doesn't mean my university's policy necessarily will. We have a lot of liberals on our faculty and among our student body, possibly as many if not more than conservatives. Whatever happens, I'd like to start a campus movement. Being that my school is a Christian university, and is taking part in the law suit concerning private religious institution's rights to not have to pay for contraceptives for their employees, its frustrating seeing how strongly school policy is against guns on campus and and how they buy into the delusion that such restrictions only make the campus a safer place. I'm tired of my rights being trampled.

I thought the Lubbys deal was the first big push for CC. Guess I was wrong, shit is worse than I thought :( Still no state income tax so I'll refrain from talking to much bad shit about my new home.

Any guesses as to the probability that Perry will make the call?

Especially considering its been proven that it can pass already, being that it has once.
