Spotting Scope recommendation

I am thinking about buying a spotting scope for my brother.

If you had about 200 to spent what would you buy?

NO PROBLEM! We can just have a liberal wearing a bright red shirt with a big black target on it stand right next to the target and point to the holes with a very short stick after each shot!

i got a Bushnell at Academy for close to what you're wanting to spend - im not sure how it would be at 600 yards, but at 100-300 - it works really well
