You don't happen to know what the rifling twist in that barrel is, do ya'? Maybe 1 in 8 or 9 or more?

from Ruger & His Guns by R.L. Wilson, page 151: The Mini-14 Rifle Introduced: 1975 Rifling: 6 grooves, right-hand twist, one turn in 10"; after 1988 twist changed to one in 7"; in mid-1994 twist changed to one in 9". so im gonna call it a 1 in 10

I have this same gun, sans folding stock. I freaking love this gun. Its a fun gun to shoot, and really accurate. Ruger did this one right. First time out I shot a coyote on a dead run at 140yds.
