If anyone in the austin texas area has had a shotgun shell latch staked, please tell me:
    1.Where you had it done.
    2.What it cost.
    3.How long it took.

I just want a general idea about this process.

WCDUB Roger and I both gave you same answer. I suppose you want info on a gunsmith doing it for you? I guess you could call McBrides, Hank Fleming, Central Texas gunworks etc and ask them the cost and how long. It would all depend on their work load. Or you could drop about 35 bucks and buy the tool from Midway and do it yourself..

Thanks to both. I was wondering if anyone had actually used one of those sources themselves, and what they thought about the work. I will either
contact those sources, or get the tool and do it myself.
