In another thread these were described as junk. Does anybody else have the same experience with them? They seem ideal for travel.

I take it nobody likes my idea of warning the police officer that his salary is paid by our taxes?
That's a pretty hollow "warning" considering that if you don't contribute to his salary he then has another justification to arrest you.

I love the idea, tho. Please record it when you tell them that ;)

Texas Law Shield just put out a video saying a handgun in the car no longer has to be concealed (for CHL Open Carry) as long as it's in a belt or shoulder holster. You Tube search Texas Law Shield, "Texas Open Carry is Imminent" it's at the 3 minute mark.

Actually I was kidding, playing off an old George Carlin joke..... "My taxes pay your salary! Hey, I'm thirsty. Get me a glass of water!"

Do you really want to transition your weapon every time you stop when you travel?

Short trips around town, no. Longer trips where I will be driving half an hour or more, probably.
