Store Bought Ammo anomaly

Found this in a bulk pack of WWB. (clause, I use wwb all the time and hadn't seen this before. Won't stop using because of this.)

Thought it was odd. Wondered if anyone has come across similar with this brand or any other?

What do you do with a round you don't want to shoot?

Yes, I have seen that exact thing from WWB 9mm.

I've seen that before. Usually in a box that looked a little squished.

Use a bullet puller on it, or just give it to someone with a Glock

When I had a .380, I found at least one like this in every box of WWB. Also had one with the wrong size primer or something; the base of the casing was punched in and the primer was barely seated. I didn't shoot that one.

I've seen that in a box of WWB .45. It surprised me, but I think the quality control for some ammo manufacturing has gone to hell in the company's haste to cash in on the Obama Factor.

I haven't had any WWB problems but haven't bought the pre-made stuff in a while.

Never bought that, but I have noticed some poor quality in some of my Speer Gold Dot...

When you buy ammo in the quanities i do and shoot as much as i do you will notice that every company has occasional issues like that. They cant check every single round that goes out and sometimes you will get rounds like that or rounds with no powder or a double load, or any number of other issues it just happens.

I bought 3 boxes of Win PDX1 9mm 124+Ps and found 5 rounds like this. The 2 on the right is the right rounds.

I got a whole box of Remington/UMC 9mm like that and took them back to where I bought them with no
problems with an exchange.

good reason to learn to reload....besides it saves dollars. but you ammo buyers keep it up..... you provide me with new brass every time Igo to the range...........
