For the last few months I have been going to High Noon Shooting Range (in Crosby) for a friendly competitive shoot on Sunday evenings. The shoot starts at 7:00PM and even with 15 shooters we have not taken longer than 8:30PM to complete the shoot.

We shoot ten rounds at each of five distances (25, 35, 45, 60, & 75ft) using the CHL silhouette. You shoot at you own speed as there is no timer and after each distance the targets are brought back to the line and scored and you then tape you holes and send the target to the next distance.

The cost is $15, of which $10 goes to the range and $5 goes into the pot for prizes that night. The prize payout is one place for the first ten shooters, second place for eleven to fifteen, third place for sixteen to twenty, and so on.

We usually have about eight to ten shooters so there is plenty of room to grow.

The firearm restrictions are that the caliber is at least 380 to S&W 50. Only open sights and it can be revolver on semi auto. You do have to supply your own ammo as you would expect.

Hope to see y'all there as it is always great to make new friends
