Hi y'all.. I'm new to the forum and new to firearms. Trying to educate myself for starters. Plan to take a safety course in the near future, and bring the wife to it as well.
Any recommendations/places for a starting out course?

What are you going to be shooting? If it's handguns, you can try Winchester Gun Gallery in Ft. Worth off 820 on the East side. You could also try Shoot Smart off of 35W north of 820.

Don't worry, the PT111 is on the list as a top 5 selling gun according to Gunbroker. And to be honest, if my want list wasn't so damblasted looong, it would be on it too.

Thanks all. Put my first 100 rounds thru it this morning. No issues to report, but like hickock says in that youtube video, the trigger pull is very long.
