Looking at the taurus line of 9's and see in the nra magazine that taurus makes their 1911 handguns in a 45, 9mm, and a 38 super.

The 9mm caught my eye, that handgun would be based on the 1911 like my other one correct?? The only difference would be the small caliber barrel.

The placement of the extractor should be different. I would think the mag well would be of a slightly different shape along with the size of the ejection port. Thats just my thinking though. It could be that the only changes are the recoil spring, the barrel, and the ejector and extractor.
