I know i know, this is the rimfire section and that is a 9mm pistol.

    NOT ANYMORE....

i am waiting for this conversion kit. in a week or so it will be in my grubby mits and i will get a review going.

from what I've read it is actually more accurate that the original upper assembly - mainly because of the better sights and obviously the reduced recoil.

also the weight is about the same as the original upper and operates identically with the exception of no last shot lock back mechanism (once again according to what i've read..) . i can live with that though considering how much cash i should save by shooting .22lr

    :)

    cant wait!

they infact say "-These units consist of a new slide, .22LR barrel, return spring and guide rod, recoil buffer and 15 round magazine in a fitted plastic case. They function FLAWLESSLY (guaranteed) using High Velocity, Hyper Velocity and most other quality .22LR ammunition."

Well . . . Jonathan archer ceiner is an odd duck. He is notoriously hard to deal with.

Some of his kits work and some don't.

The glock kit is reported to be quite temperameNtal.

The Thompson smg kit that I have seen works like a charm.

Most .22 kits are ammo sensitive as you know and you have to finD the ammo the kit likes.

Let us know how this works.

    well the kit looks nice!
when it came in the box it must have gotten jumbled around pretty good in transit because the guide rod had come loos and was jammed in between the slide and the barrel. took a minute to take it apart and put it back together, after that the fit was nice, if a little tight. after taking it off and putting it back on a number of times it is getting smoother, im sure a few fire sessions and it will be just fine.

will get back with some range data and maybe even a video.

    :)

finally tested this out the other day.

no video, no pictures. but it shot well! much MUCH more accurate than the stock slide assembly/barrel.

150 rounds and not a single malf. which is weird, because i usually have at least least one round fail on me when shooting .22 lr.

this was also dirty bottom drawer (literally mixed loose in the bottom drawer for ages) that was collected and shot - and not one problem.

apparently this guy is in trouble for mail fraud, so this might be one of the last Ceiner .22 conversions ever made.

    important part is, It works.
