Thomas Jefferson wrote, "The true barriers of our liberty in this country are our State governments." In that spirit, please urge our Texas house to protect our liberty by passing the Texas 2nd Amendment Preservation Act, which would prohibit state agencies from enforcing or aiding in the enforcement of nearly every federal gun law--both existing ones and others in the works.
The bill has made it out of committee and is now in the hands of the Calendars Committee, which will determine when (if?) it goes to the full House for a vote. Here's how to nudge the right people to keep it moving forward:
