? Why are our "administrators" so much against the use of armed volunteer school guards ? Many of us are very experienced, ex-Military Officers, NCO's, Grandparents, etc. I'd gladly volunteer to serve a couple short shifts per week. The resistance to traditional old American ways of PROTECTING OURSELVES and our families is a big problem. Why do they think that only uniformed police can protect citizens & our children ? Agreed, overall, self reliance has been bred out of Americans to the point that when you explain that it is one's own responsibility to take care of whatever it is to take care of, people these days will take offense to such a notion.
