    Anyone going tomorrow? I'm bringing my brother in law for his first match. I'm shooting my new P226 Dark Elite for the first time tomorrow.
    Fun to be had, weather permitting.

    Texas Tactical will be putting on an IDPA Match this Sunday December 28th at the Cedar Ridge Range between Austin and San Antonio. Bring a friend or two and introduce them to all the fun! Everyone is welcome!


    If anyone would like to help with setup
    please arrive no later than 0750hrs OR 0900hrs sharp.
    The range owners open the gate at 0750hrs for us then they lock it back until 0900hrs when the range officially opens.
    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Yes sir! My BIL and I went out to the Alamo Muzzleloaders Range in Lacoste and trained for about 4 hours in the weather.

    Tried the dot torture drill for the first time. Humbling!!!

    Had some FTF's with my P226 DE, likely the ammo (cheap reloads) but still disappointing as I never have had any issues with Sigs before...

    Learning how you and your equipment handle cold is extremely important as shit never hits the fan at a good time!

    As to the failures...my vote is cheap ammo combined with cold!
